Party Stances
Civic Party (EFDD) Hard Eurosceptic, right wing populist party. Favours nationalism, social conservatism and economic liberalism. Seen as right wing.
National Party (ECR) Party divided into 3 groups, the most common Traditionalist sect who support free market conomics, social conservatism and soft Euroscepticism - the more centrist 'We Can' sect, who tend to be more pro-European and socially progressive, and the right wing 'Our Nation' sect, who tend to be aligned with the Civic Party on most issues, and are hard Eurosceptics and nationalists. Seen as centre-right.
Freedom Party (S&D) Broadly centre-left with the views of democratic socialism and social democracy. The party is pro-European and favours further EU integration. Seen as centre-left.
CCP (EPP) Libertarian party with conservative and classically liberal viewpoints. The party is critical of further EU integration, stands for civil liberties, and supports a free market economy. Seen as centre to centre-right.
Green (G/EFA) Green party that supports eco-socialism, enviromentalism and pacificism. The party is strongly supportive of the European Union and favours further integration. Seen as left-wing.
Right (ALDE) Socially liberal and pro-European party supporting 'the Right way'. The party is seen as centre to centre-left.
